Work in Progress Insights

I am very excited to announce that I recently finished the first draft of my debut novel! The draft contains roughly 105.000 words and tells the love story between a sunshine college football jock and a struggling new college student.

I have decided to set the manuscript aside for a few weeks, so that I will be able to look at it with fresh eyes once I go into editing.

In the mean time, I am going to start working on my second novel, which will be set in the same universe as the first book. I am currently planning a series of three interconnected standalones about three different couples, and I can’t wait to start the second book, as my brain is already full of ideas just waiting to be unleashed onto paper!

I will be going on a three week vacation at the end of July, after which I plan to start editing my debut. Once my edits are complete, I plan to send the manuscript off to beta readers. I will not be communicating a timeline for edits, the beta reading phase or release dates at this moment, because there is no way I can predict how long it will all take right now, and I do not want to repeat the mistake of putting too much pressurte on myself. By the way, if you would be interested in beta reading a swoony football-romance, I encourage you to contact me!

Once the beta reading phase is complete, I will be sharing more infos about the novel on my website and on my social accounts! If you would like to stay tuned on my work in progress, sign up for my newsletter and find me on socials!
